each other, grow spiritually and serve together. No one at FBC with needs stands alone!
Sunday Morning Group
Sundays @ 10:00 a.m.

Everyone is invited to this Bible study exploring the big picture of God’s redemptive story throughout Scripture.  People of all ages participate. Childcare is provided!  Leaders: Phil & Lorena Zahradnik.

Chinese Sunday Growth Groups
Sundays @ 11:30 a.m.

The Chinese Ministry gathers after worshiping together in the 10:00 a.m. worship celebration for lunch to discuss the sermon together followed by several smaller group Bible studies. Leaders: Chung & Rebecca Hsu.

International Women’s Group
Sundays @ 12:30 p.m.

Are you looking for a diverse community of women filled with support? These women from diverse nations and generations explore what the Bible says about topics especially meaningful for women. Leader: Evie Hopkins.

Prayer Warriors
Sundays @ 7:00 p.m.

Everyone is invited to this prayer gathering to worship together, share praises, pray for each other, and intercede for First Baptist’s mission partners around the world. Leader: Ron Loescher.

African Community
Mondays @ 6:00 p.m.

The African Community among the church family and their friends gather twice a semester to celebrate together, share delicious meals, and build friendships. Leader: Lucy Mule.

Search the Scriptures
Mondays @ 6:30 p.m.

Search the Scriptures welcomes people of all ages seeking to dig deeper into the Bible in supportive community. We study Bible texts and discuss how the truths connect with our lives today. Leader: Sue Dierks.

Northern Growth Group
Tuesdays @ 6:30 p.m.

Do you live in North Amherst or a town north of church? This group meets twice am month in South Deerfield to sing worship songs, study Scripture, and encourage each other. Leaders: John & Sharon Stacey. 

Young Adult Fellowship
Tuesdays @ 6:00 p.m.

These young adults and grad students gather to enjoy dinner and explore Biblical themes relevant to following Christ at work, on campus, in our relationships, etc. Leader: Hayley Culver.
Chinese Community Group
Tuesdays @ 7:00 p.m.
Chinese speaking adults of all ages from our region gather to share life together and explore how the Gospel  transforms our identity to guide our lives. Leaders: Chung & Rebecca Hsu.
Women’s Bible Study
Wednesdays @ 6:30 p.m.

Every woman is invited to this welcoming community to encourage each other, pray for each other, study the  Bible, and apply what we learn into our lives. Leader: Carolyn Mozel.


Chinese Friday Night Group
Fridays @ 6:00 p.m.

The Chinese community starts the weekend with a dinner together followed by worship songs and small group Bible study classes. Leader: Pastor Lily Soh.

Band of Brothers
Saturdays @ 7:00 a.m.

Band of Brothers are men helping each other to honor God as husbands, fathers, friends, employees, etc. The men choose Bible books to discuss and pray for each other. Leader: Jerry Gates.

Living Faith Group
Saturdays @ 10:15 a.m.

This diverse group from many nations and ages gathers to sing hymns, explore how the Bible applies to daily life, and pray for each other. Leader: Ron Loescher.



Amherst College Growth Group 
Fridays @ 4:30 p.m.

Amherst College students gather in Chapin Lounge to build community centered in Christ and explore how the Gospel shapes our lives. Leaders: Victoria, Nicole, and Yosen.

 Mount Holyoke College Group
Wednesdays @ 7:15 p.m.

The Moho women get together to celebrate God’s transforming love and explore how Jesus shapes our lives. We meet each week in Mandelles Hall B10. Leaders: Ji-Won Ham & Katy Gore. 

Smith College Growth Group
Thursdays  @ 6:00 p.m.

Smith women are invited to gather at the Helen Hills Chapel to delve into God’s Word and wrestle with how our faith can shape our lives now and guide our futures. Leaders: Claire Kim & Claire Park.  

UMass Women’s  Growth Group
Thursdays @ 7:30 p.m.

UMass women are invited to gather at the Isenberg Atrium to care for each other and explore what the Bible says to navigate life in college and for a lifetime. Leaders: Emily Chow & Jamie Xu.

UMass Men’s Group
Thursdays @ 7:30 p.m.

UMass students are invited to gather at the Isenberg Atrium to study the Bible to grow as God-honoring men and encourage each other to follow Christ right now and into the future. Leaders: Dylan Bahn & Michael Yip.

Agape Worship Night
Saturdays @ 7:00 p.m.

College students from throughout the five college region gather every other Saturday night to worship, reflect, pray, and share testimonies. Leader: Agape Worship Team.
