    Breaking Barriers
Our global village is filled with racial, social, economic, gender, and spiritual barriers that create tragic suffering for so many people. We'll meet three of the most diverse people who come to Christ and gather together as the church community that displays the power of the Gospel to break through barriers in our fractured world.

    Pass It On!
The Greeks who invented the torch relay race coined a phrase, “Let those who have the light pass it on.” How do we, as bearers of the light of Christ live out this light and pass it on? Let us come together this Sunday and explore how we can obey the command of Christ to bring His life- transforming good news to those around us.

    The Example of Jesus
In the story of Jesus washing his disciples’ feet, we see an example of true humility and care. We say, “that’s what service ought to look like!” But hiding in this simple act is a deeper reflection on who Jesus is, why Jesus came, and how Jesus sets an example that moves us far beyond helpfulness in our service. This Sunday we’ll see how this story is a scandalous tale of God’s radical love.

    The Message of Christ
Spiritual conversations with our friends can be stressful and inviting people to church can evoke fear in a skeptical society. We'll explore God's wisdom for sharing Christ with people God brings into our lives. We'll learn from Peter's letter to the church in the Roman Province of Asia, who were wrestling with how to relate their faith in the midst of religious persecution, social discrimination, and intellectual skepticism.

    The Servants of Jesus
We'll explores Jesus’ example to guide us as a church community to think together how we can serve like Jesus and share the Gospel among our neighbors. This Sunday we'll learn from a conversation between Jesus and his friends in Luke 10:35-45.

    What are you talking about?
On Easter morning we'll walk along the road to Emmaus with two disciples, grieving the loss of Jesus and bewildered by the death of Messiah, when the resurrected Jesus joins them. Jesus asks them probing questions and reveals his mission of suffering for our sins and rising to defeat death. We'll explore how Jesus still walks alongside his confused disciples, asking probing questions, revealing who he really is, and changing the direction of our lives. This story is described in Luke 24:13-33. Christ is risen!

My God! My God! Why have you forsaken me?
We'll explore why Jesus was the only person forsaken by God as our sins were heaped upon him and see three events that begin revealing the impact of Christ's atonement: (1) The temple curtain torn away removing the barrier between God and people, (2) Many dead people resurrected back to life, (3) The soldiers who nailed Jesus to cross recognizing Jesus as the Son of God.
