Growth Groups are communities of 8-12 people who meet in homes or at the church to build relationships, encourage each other, grow spiritually, and serve together. Eighteen groups are currently meeting in locations around the Pioneer Valley and new groups are regularly forming. Not sure which group might be the best match? Here are the groups this semester: Through the Bible Group Sundays @ 9:30 a.m. Come on a journey through the Bible! This group surveys the historical background, cultural context, teaching themes and life application of the New Testament. Childcare is provided. Contact: Archie Nebedum. q q q q q Sunday Morning Group Sundays @ 11:00 a.m. Are you looking to dig deeper into the Bible? Everyone is invited to this group to study the meaning of Sctipture and how the truths apply to life. The group chooses books of the Bible to study together. Childcare is provided. Contact: Stephen Broyles. q q q q q The HUB Youth Group Sundays @ 6:00 p.m. Students in grades 7-12 gather for fun games, creative learning, group discussion, and lots of food. Fun events, weekend retreats, community service, and mission trips are scheduled throughout the year. Contact: Andre Hinson. q q q q q Journey With Jesus Sundays @ 6:00 p.m. Who was Jesus? What did he teach? How can we follow Christ in everyday life? come on a journey with Jesus as we explore some of the Gospel stories and grow closer to Christ. This 6-week class is offered every other year. Contact: Greg Mozel. q q q q q Christianity 101 Sundays @ 6:30 p.m. Why can we trust the Bible? How can we know God exists? What can we know about God's character? Who is Jesus? Why is the cross so important? Who is the Holy Spirit? Why do we pray? What is salvation? What is the meaning of baptism? Are you looking for a positive place to grow in Christ? This group of mixed ages gathers to study what Scripture says about relevant topics relating to everyday life. Contact: Sue Dierks. q q q q q Faith That Works Group #1 Mondays @ 7:00 p.m. Are you looking for a supportive environment to build faith that works in daily life? Come encourage each other, pray together, ask questions, and explore how the Bible applies to our lives. This group meets to grow spiritually, pray together, and encourage each other to faithfully follow Christ. Come learn about foundational beliefs of Christian faith and explore how to grow spiritually. The only silly question is an unasked question in this group! We are learning from the lives of wormen in the Bible. Women of all ages are invited to this evening group to build friendships, encourage each other, and grow in Christ together. The Faith Builders gather to build friendships, study Scrpture, and pray for each other. Childcare is provided. q q q q q Global Village Fridays @ 6:00 p.m. People from many nations and diverse cultures form this global community.
