FBC College is a thriving ministry for students of the Five Colleges and other surrounding schools. We have regular events throughout the school year, weekly bible studies, retreats, service projects, and much more! Our goal is to provide a community for students to seek the Lord and be transformed by the work of God in our midst!
What We Do:
Agape Nights: Bi-Weekly on Saturdays
Agape is an evening for all students of the ministry to gather and seek God in a time of extended prayer and worship. These events foster community and centering on Christ as we make room to pursue God together. Agape is the heartbeat of our campus ministry, and a wonderful opportunity to get to know who we are! Agape normally takes place at 7:30pm at Chapin Chapel on Amherst College’s campus. Check our Facebook page for updated dates and locations!
Community Events: Bi-Weekly on Saturdays
On alternating Saturdays, students gather in small groups by campus or as one large, Five College community for fun community events. These change each time; groups may grab dinner together, go on a hike in the woods, do a local service project, or head to a bowling alley. These weeks are focused on growing together in intentional community.
Growth Groups: Weekly on Each Campus
Growth Groups are regular small group bible studies that meet based on campus. We have 5 groups; Mount Holyoke, Smith, Amherst, UMass Men, and UMass Women. Group meet weekly and welcome all to attend! For information aon Growth Groups, email email@example.com
Throughout the academic year, we also have weekend retreats, a week-long service project over Spring Break, “Lunches for 8” where students dine in the homes of church families, and much more! We also love to connect students with other ministries and service opportunities in the church. Contact us today to find out what is happening in this great ministry!
